In rural Uganda, unemployment and poverty are daily struggles—especially for women, orphans, and school dropouts. Without opportunities, many young people remain trapped in cycles of dependency.

At VURRA, we believe that skills equal dignity. That’s why we offer both short- and long-term vocational courses in tailoring, hairdressing, mechanics, plumbing, catering, and more. These courses not only provide practical knowledge but also instill confidence and independence.

Take Sarah, a young mother who once thought her dreams were over. Through our tailoring program, she learned not just how to sew but how to run a business, save money, and reinvest in her children’s education. Today, Sarah employs two other women in her workshop, creating a ripple effect of empowerment.

💡 When one woman succeeds, her entire community benefits.
